Went and watched Alexis perform this morning at the pep rally, she looked so cute and so grown up. Sitting in a high school gym for a pep rally is a real adrenaline rush or rather it was for me. I couldn't help but look around at all of those faces and remember that that was me only(ha!) 30 years ago! Listening to the noise as they all screamed out their class chants, well it was just fun to watch. In a scenario like this I become very aware of my disability cause ya know those kids stood through 75% of the pep rally. But when the whole thing was over my kids and their friends came over and gave me a hug and kiss as they left the gym, without sounding too sentimental it made me smile and thank God for all that I have.
